Last updated 2026. This policy describes how ToolNest handles files, logs, and advertising. It is not legal advice.
File processing
ToolNest is a collection of small utilities. The tools that are ready to use run in your browser. When a page says your text or files are processed in your browser, that material is not uploaded to our servers.
A tool that is still marked “coming soon” does not process files. Nothing is uploaded and no result is created on those pages.
Data retention
We do not ask you to create an account to use the basic tools, and we do not build a profile of the files you work with. Browser-only tools never send the file contents to us, so we have nothing from those sessions to store.
Messages you send to hello@toolnestworld.com are kept long enough to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, or files you do not want stored in email.
Cookies
This version of the site does not set analytics or advertising cookies. The hosting provider may record standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested, for security and operations. Those logs are kept according to the host’s practices, not as a marketing list.
Analytics
The application has an analytics interface so events such as a completed conversion or a download can be recorded later. Right now that interface writes to the development console only. No analytics service is connected, and no analytics cookie is set.
Advertising
Advertising space exists in the layout and is turned off. No advertising script is loaded, and this version of the site does not set advertising cookies.
If advertising is switched on, it will be provided by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a person’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info. Google describes its advertising cookies in its advertising technologies policy. The free plan is the plan that would show ads. Its file size limit is 25 MB.
Third-party services
Fonts are delivered with the application rather than requested from a third-party font site on each page view. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share file contents with advertisers. Google would only receive the advertising data described above if AdSense is switched on.
User rights
You can use the basic tools without giving us your name or email. If you have emailed us and want that message deleted, or you want a copy of the correspondence we still have, write to hello@toolnestworld.com. We will respond to requests we can verify. This policy does not claim compliance with any specific privacy statute. Rules differ by country, and a lawyer should adapt it to the places where ToolNest is offered.
